Im going to pull the 302 and aod trans out of my 85 f150 and put in a 91
E 150 302 and trans
the trans has a deeper pan on the 91 so what are the dif between the 85 trans and the 91 what do I need if anything to make it work in the 85

There were improvements made in later AOD transmissions. '88-'93 are the better ones. If the deeper pan fits, use it. TV cable adjustment, and other shifter issues would be the thing to watch.
