Checking in.

So today my cousin stopped over and we tackled the door again. Ended up replacing both pins in the driver side door. If anyone is looking at doing this, I highly recommend it. The door closes so easily now with no door sag. I ended up using the GM door pins at Advanced Auto. The pin came with 2 sets of bushings, I used the thicker ones with the teeth. The pin and the bushings were as if made for my Ford ... couldn't explain it but it was awesome. Anyway I had done one of them a few weeks ago and please learn from me, mark the position of the hinges before starting as it will make your life way easier when putting the door back on.
Grind off the mushroomed top of the pin and just hammer the pin out. This would be a good time to take care of any rust issues. After playing around for an hour loosening bolts and checking if it would close and repositioning 9,000 times and finally tightening into position, the door works so well. We replaced the exterior door handle too and sure enough the new handle wouldn't push the latch far enough. So we used a baby hose clamp around the arm that pushes the rod down and it worked. Probably could have been done better, with maybe some weld but hey, it works and will never be seen. I'll post a few pictures.

Picture of the top hinge and pin. So sweet

Here is the baby hose clamp on the arm. Works surprisingly well.

Just for fun, put a breather oil cap on. The hoses from the emission cap were not connected to anything anyway... that means they can go away right
haha
Breather on the other side.

I added a couple new things such as springs, hoses, caps, etc.
