was out driving with my dad in my uncles ferrari today. we were in this little town in the bay area (CA) called menlo park, and found a really nice looking slick, either 64 or 63, not completely sure, had the grill I've always known as a 64 but was that also a 63 grill? rangoon red, looked like original paint in really nice shape, had 94_ _ _ miles and came with a 6 cyl. I was amazed the most when I noticed the original hubcaps!!! but my question is how do you tell the diff between a 63 and 64?
guess what! it's on ebay right now! it is a 63, has wood racks on bed. the ferrari is a 78 308/GTS, with like 15000 original miles. When my uncle bought it every hose and belt was original, still on the factory original wheels and tires! he has put new wheels and tires on to preserve the originals though. not a very fast car, don't get me wrong it is fast and sticks to the ground like no other, but his clk 55 amg is a million times faster.
I hate those beds. Guy is awefully proud of that truck. Don't see any aftermarket stuff to justify that price. Must want the money back out of that paint job.
