I don't know. You are getting above my head now, though I am learning more about this from this post. Maybe someone else will post who knows more about it.

I'll give the dealer a call later on to see if they can just re-program it.

As long as all the wiring/pins are the same as mine, I would think they is an option.

I know there is a signal wire inline in one of the blue wires from the gem so perhaps the GEM from the 2000 does not use that signal, but that still wouldn't explain the LOW light being on constantly.

I'll keep checking on here for responses and will call the dealer later on to see what they say.
