I am re-building a 73 F100 4x4 with 360/4-speed. I can either rebuild the steering and suspension that is there, or upgrade to something else. Is 78/79 4x4 steering the best Ford had and is it possible to bolt it up to my 73 frame? Or is there aftermarket that is a good replacement. Or should I just stick with the stock setup? I don't plan on doing any serious wheel'n, but I should be able to go anywhere you would expect a stock, but lifted 4x4. I am not sure what size lift I want, 2-4", but plan on running 33" tires.
