Weird Starting Problem

I was driving home from work today and I stopped at the store. It's about 3 miles from work to the store. I went in, came back out and my truck wouldn't start. It had plenty of battery and would turn and turn but no crank. It would try really hard to start and then just kind of putter out. I thought that it may be the fuel shutoff switch but I couldn't remember where it was located so I walked home the next 1/2 mile. I changed clothes, drank a beer and found out where the shutoff switch was located. Grabbed a mag lite, phone number to my local tow guy and headed back to the store to try to reset the shutoff switch. When I got there, I got in and tried to see if it would start and it did. I drove home turned it off and then tried to crank it, no problemo. I don't get it. I've had the truck for 2 months and haven't had an issue. It was about an hour between not starting and then starting with no problems. Any suggestions? TIA.

Update, yesterday I drove about a mile to the bank. Got money, got back in, no problem. I drove half mile to the store, went in, back out, no problem, drove home. Today I drove 2 miles to the store, went in, came back out, truck won't start. I wait 5 minutes, it won't start. I wait another 10 minutes, truck won't start. I wait another 20 minutes and it cranks right up. I have no idea what's going on with it. Again, any suggestions?

Try Dirty battery terminals or a loose conection at the starter or relay good luck.
