4x4 light
I have a 2001 F250 4x4 that the indicator light does'nt come on. The 4x4 works good but i have no way to let the wife know when it's in 4x4 or not. Does the light come on when you first turn the key on? Mine don't. I was wondering if it's just a bulb or is it down on the transfer case. Mine is manual shift. The lo4 does not come on either. Anyone seen this before?

Try this. Hold the trip button down and turn the key on. After a couple seconds, the odo should read test or something close to. release the button and press it until it says bulb. When it reads bulb, all of the bulbs should be lit, any that aren't have failed. (assuming you have an HEC cluster with digital odometer.)

No i don't have that type of odo.
If anyone has the same one as me, does your light come on when you turn your ignition on before starting?
The reason i ask is my buddy has a 1999 F150 and his 4x4 light comes on in this situation.
