They are not bad at all for fitment, but if they have the ball type collector joint, be prepared to tighten them and put new bolts in about 3 or 4 times a year, maybe if you use the spring loaded type bolts they may stay tight though..

Ran the Lnl headers on a 78 ford f-250 2wd and worked nice 460 engine. But also ran some super comp headers once and it was a nightmare. Had to pull the engine mounts many times to get fit right. I lifted the engine about 6 to 8 times to get the fit correct on driver side. I was using LnL motormounts not Oem stuff. I lifted engine and unbolted frame mount and cut and ground for clearance. It was pain in the but bad.

I've since bought a set of L&L to replace them at the first oppurtunity, yeah, I dislike them that much!

No hedman experience, but the L&L headers have some serious metal in them! I have never seen headers made out of any thicker metal! I ve got a set of fender exits and they must weigh a ton. Should last forever!

i had to grind the back of my frame perches too,#1 and #5 primary were resting right against them,in there now-actually the trans dapt poly mounts i had before wouldn't even sit all the way down, they hit bad

I ran the cheaper e-bay conversion mounts in mine with the headman headers with no issues.I did have to trim the mount tower on the pass side slightly (small notch) but mine has 302 perches
