I don't think either are louder than the other. The primary soucre of intake noise is the intake pipe and the air pulses in it. Its why stock intakes have baffles attached to the pipe.
As to faster, its going to be minimal (not enough to make a lot of difference by itself) and it depends on who makes it.

With the supercharger the compression is up and it needs higher octane in order to prevent pre-detonation. Too much ignition timing with too low an octane fuel and its like playing with fire.... eventually you'll get burned. Its especially critical to run high octane (91 minimum but try for 93) in the winter.
