I have 265/75 terra grapplers. They are quite and I like the tread pattern. The only dislike I have is they are very soft. I don't believe that they'll last very long.
Ive got the Nitto mud grapplers and so far I have right around 17000 miles on them and they still have over half of the tread left. The only thing that I dislike about them are that they are extremely loud.
I have 35in terra grapplers and overall I like them, they are a little on the soft side though. They worked good for me in the mud, snow, sand and on the road.
I used to run goodyear Mt/r's and they were a little noisy, crappy on ice (like any mud tire) but other then that they were great in all other aspects. I switched to goodyear silent armours due to the fact I was gonna be throwing lots of highway miles on.
Next year i will need a set of tires again and i am gonna look into the toyo mud tire (forget the name) they are supposed to be great tires, and not even THAT noisey!
I wouldnt hesitate to get a set of goodyears again, but the cost of them is usually high.
285/75/17 terra grapplers on now. No complaints. seem to hook up pretty good. I read many threads on tires b4 I bought. All I can say is you can't please all the people all the time. I found a fabulous deal on my tires through ebay and discount tire. Local store wouldn't even match the price (+ shipping). Proper air pressure and not letting the smoke outta the tires helps alot.
