paint code help please want to match
good day everyone and merry xmas is there any one that can help me identifie the color codes on this 78 reg cab truck? as i am not the computer savey i put this pic into my gallery "class of 79" 79 f350 4x2 as i would like to match the paint for my supercab i was going to go with 08 caddy pearl white but at $2000 extra on top of the $4000 quoted this changed my mind the body man for some reason works with "paint codes" thank you for your help regurds joe

You might call your local automotive paint store and ask if they have paint chips for 70's model Ford Trucks, then match it to the picture.
My paint store has paint chips back to 79 with the corresponding codes..........bart

Here is a web site that will allow you to plug in the year and make/type. You can pull up images of the paint chips and codes for that year.
AutoColorLibrary Color Chip Selector
One caveat, on your computer screen, the colors may not be exactly the same as the actual color. But, it may get you close enough to compare.
Of course, all this is assuming that the truck at which you are looking has the original paint.
