Tires for Explorer
Its time for my 2005 Explorer with just over 60,000 miles on the michelins X-terrains to get new tires. There's still some tread on them (maybe 4/32") but all 4 tires are worn differently and it being winter and ski season starting its time.
What's you take on these choices:
Firestone Destination LE
BFG Radial Long Trail
Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza
Tirerack has been helpful (Consumer Survey Results By Category) and here's what I've loacted in my area. The Firestones are cheapest at about $500 all in; the BFG's are slightly more, and the Bridgestones are almost $700. It doesn't seem worth $200 to me.
