It should be ok if u don,t overdo it. I added 3 red led lights and a led light strip in between my tailgate and bumper on my truck. Also have 2 KC lights and 2 small lights on a prerunner bar on my front bumper, also 2 fog lights mounted behind the grill.

I like how the F350 dually trucks of our era look with the clearance lights rear fender lights and the 3 or 5 lights on or under the tailgate. That is really the only truck I like with running lights. As for marker/running lights on the F150 though I don't care for it. If it is a lifted 4x4 then the clearance lights on the roof look ok. This also looks good on the F250 trucks that were 4x4 and came with the clearance lights on the roof.

My truck is definitly not getting any running lights.

ford says dont add any lights onto the park light circuit with out a relay as it can overload the h/l switch... cant remember the years but it's surely the 1987-91 and possibly 92-96... the 87-91's actually have a plug at the harness ( where it comes out of the firewall) labeled "park light" just for the purpose of adding lights and a relay.

edit: the label at the plug actually reads :To aux marker lamps

Haha, everyone calls my truck a Christmas tree.... I like it, so do some of my friends haha....

The lights under the back bumper come in handy when your hooking up the trailer, backing up, or when towing somebody out of the ditch...

Fog lights are great to see things on the side of your truck, like house numbers in the middle of nowhere... The KC lights are awesome, great for when your friends call and need you to tow them out of the snow....

Let there be light, haha...
