My sons 2003 F-150 4x4 is have an intermittant problem with the right front brake pulling the truck to the right upon braking. He allegedly had the trucks ABS brake system scanned and nothing was found amiss. It has no certain speed that it will pull to the right but he usually has roofing material in the bed for his job. this seems like it is a safety issue but the dealer seems uninterested in doing anything as FORD is mandated by the Government to repair certain ABS components. What can he do? Thanks.
Check the brake pads on that wheel. If the pads on that wheel are worn more than the ones on the opposite side , I would think you got a caliper sticking that needs to be replaced.

I just talked to the boy and he says the ABS light will flicker and when it does the speedometer needle will take a dive. Does it sound like the right front is braking like a regular system instead of pulsing like ABS? Or that caliper is compensating for the other side? Thanks!
Not a caliper!! Definate ABS Issues. The dealer was unable to pull codes from computer system? Or was it ever even hooked up to a scanner?
If it's doing weird things like that , it should be throwing codes. Go back to dealer or reputable mechanic and request a scan of the computer. Is the "check engine" light on also?
