hello all i have a question i have a 75 3/4 ton highboy 4x4 my question is what size lugs go on the axels the front lugs are a lot smaller then the back ones it seems like the back ones are off a 1 ton or maybe a dually the ones on back are fine threads the ones up front are course threads also how do i change them so they will match im buying new rims soon and want the same size lugs any help would be most helpful thanks
I had to buy some replacements so I went to Kragen's and looked it up in their book and then went out and tried one on. I don't think the 1 ton got fine threads, but I could be wrong. You should have a D44 up front and a D60 in the back w/ 8 lugs each.
Also, don't forget that alum rims take a different lug nut that steel rims, steel rims take the angled edge where as alum takes a flat edge and I think should have a washer on each one. The steel rims hold from inside the hole and alum hold from the outer edge of each hole where the washer is.
