vibration between 30 and 50
I am looking into buying a 1992 f150 and the owner says he thinks the vibration between 30 and 50 is u joints does this make sense and also what else could it be i dont want to buy a money pit just something to last the winter

Mine was 95 F150 with a 302 with 4R70W(AODE). My vibrations were bad fan clutch, motor mounts, u-joints, wheel bearings, driveshaft support bearing, and torque converter (OD clutch 20-50 mph). All this including tranny rebuild turned this dealer offered $3000 creampuff into a fine running $8000 machine. Enjoy it all the more in my poverty.

if the trucks been ditched, the driveshaft may have rode along the shoulder, bending it, especially if it was at that speed when it happened, i did it myself, fell asleep withe cruise on in the rain, pulled out of it before i went in the ravine at 55mph, vibed at 55 ever since
