lift kit

I am looking for a lift kit for a 1997 explorer 2 wheel drive with the torsion bar front suspension, I would like it to be 4 inches or more, does anybody know who makes a kit and a website that I might be able to find one on. any help would be great.

Well it doesn't look good as far as finding a bolt on kit. Check this thread for some info though. Good luck.

thanks, I was afraid I wouldnt be able to find one cause of the torsion bar cross member being welded to the frame, I guess I will have to call the local shops and see what they recommend

Any luck with lifting that thing yet?
