Has anyone had any experience with the pirelli scorpion a/t tires. I just got a set of 31's put on and was wondering how good of a tire they were. i got them for a b-day present or i would have got the bfg's but oh well. How well do they go in mud and offroad compared to the bfg a/t.
I dont run the pirelli's but i work at a sears and we sell them, i just got a rating card on them and the lowest score they had was an 8.2 out of 10. the were def. the best tires rated for road. the reason i dont run them is becasue i have 38.5" super swampers and they are good off road. good luck with your tires.
I cannot remember the exact number but they were up there in the top. i have found the BF mud terrains to be the best but will suffer on the road due to the softness. if you get a BF all terrain its still good off road but will get you some more miles on the road. those are tires i have had from personal experience, my opinion would be the perelli scorpions A/T and the BF A/T would be about the same, i would get whatever is cheaper. good luck
I don't go off-roading with my vehicles but I have friends that do and two of them have told me that they tried the Cooper STT and said that it was the tire to beat. I run Cooper H/T on both of my vehicles because I want the superior traction and the slightly aggressive tread they offer. One of my friends tried the Cooper A/T when the Firestone problem arose and she said she would never go back to any other tire. That may give you something to think about. I am on here today to see if someone can solve my brake rotor problems. I have a Mountaineer and I want to remove the rotors but two of them are very stubborn. Got any suggestions?
