LS finally works :)

Well i ordered the ford aluminum differential cover and royal purple gear oil and last week I changed the fluid and installed the cover. Wow what a difference .When i break the rear loose now both tires will spin instead of just one. Also in 4wd the rear dosent chatter and buck because the wheel with the least amount of traction was spinning. It feels like a different truck plowing too. What a shame too because the gear oil i changed had only 16k miles on it. That was definately worth the $140 bucks for the fluid and cover.

The only thing I can gripe about my 08 F350, coming from my F150... is the LS unit. You could not stick the half ton. My 350? Forget a slick spot.. you are stuck.

Wheel are you sure it's not the tires. I got stuck on wet grasss with Conticraps on my old truck. Never an issue with any tire but those.

Same thing here. The Continentals just plain sucked. Put Goodyear Silent Armors on and it's a whole different truck now.
