Cheap insurance

i have decided to look for a new insurence company. i was with AIG, and it was really cheap (which may be why they are in $ trouble) but they added $40 per month for no reason. i am currently in college and working. i need full coverage since the bank owns it.

does anyone have any sugeestions. gieco was 225 a month which was about 100 more than AIG even with the increase.

I use progressive and believe it or not for my drivers profiles its actually the cheapest i could find (and let me tell ya i shopped around) ....for 225 a month i got the wifes full coverage, my work car and my truck...theres also one insurance outfit cant remember the name but its just when you want the basics, its only available in select states, (WV not being one of them)

Have you tried Allstate? I only have liability on Red, but with full coverage on the wife's van, it's less than anywhere else we tried, about $125 a month for both vehicles. We have a $500 deductible for hers, but with the "accident forgiveness" program, since we've had no accidents or tickets or chargeable offenses since 2002, if we did have to make a claim, our deductible would be $200. That's worth the price of entry as far as I'm concerned.

Progressive was the cheapest in MI.

Pays to shop around every year as company prices change. And don't forget the smaller guys like Farm Bureau.
