So, a while back, someone on here posted pictures of the interior upgrades they had done on their truck.
I remember a custom wood inlaid dash, among other things, to make the 7.3 look much more like a King Ranch. Anyone remember who that was?
My other half is considering a 7.3 Ex, but really loves his "creature comforts" and updated interior. I'd like to show him pictures of what some of you have done to make your interiors nicer.
If anyone wants to share pictures of their updates, that'd be awesome.
The excursions were generally a level above the turcks on creature comforts, unless you got a lariat or a king ranch. My excursion has electronic automatic climate control, you set the temp, it does the rest, single cd changer, console big enough to put a tommy gun into....well, maybe if you detach the stock, but a 12 pack of pepsi would fit easily...maybe even a 24 can brick....rear heat with separate controls, rear radio controls...even a top console with a " trip computer", but don't trust it with a chip.....it lies like, well, pick your least favorite former president. Mine is a limited though....
Especially comparing an xl or xlt to an excursion limited, the ex will be pretty plush. The only thing I'd like to add to mine - heated seats.
Upgrade the interior to a King Ranch interior and have Temple do a massive woodgrain interior along with custom over head console with the mood lights and LCD TV I cannot rmemeber who did it.
