I had the cv axles, trans mount, and driverside wheel bearing replaced. Now there is a knock, one and one only, when turning, a "thud" of sorts. On the interstate it sounds and drives fine. The thud is deep and it happens on slower turns like pulling out of a parking lot. It is coming from the drivers side front. The guy that did the work says he will take a look at it monday moring, but he is 160miles from me. I took the wheel off in my apt complex and used a cell phone flashlight and grabbed everything I could think of and shook it or tried to turn it. Nothing appears loose. It is similar to my f250 when it had a bad radois arm bushing and the arm banged against the bracket. But with my car this noise only happens once in a turn or going over a large pot hole.
My boss who has been wrenching on cars for the last 30 yeARS said he could look at it monday before work, OR I can take off work and have the joker that did the work look at it monday moring
What next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
