Anyway, popped the hood today and I notice my AC pump's paint is coming off, heavily (flaking in large chunks). Noting I didn't have the AC on (and knowing the AC pump gets cold) I didn't know how this could have happened. Nothing else looks burnt.
I asked my dad what he thought. He blames the Armoral I use to make my hoses / plastics look like new. My question is, could Armoral cause paint to break away?
I'd like to re-paint the pump. What kind of paint should I use?
