Remote Start - Heated Seats
Does anyone know if the heated seats in the truck can be programmed to turn on with the command start?? I have a factory Ford command start installed and am wondering if anyone knows some way to program the seats so they turn on when the truck does. I know a few other people that have Ford vehicles and they have this option but am not sure if it's possible on the F350?

i think the only way would be to remove the factory heat switch and install a toggle switch to one that has on/of/on so you would turn the switch to either the low or high position the night before. sort of like turning the heater on so when the truck starts, it comes on.

My seats on my 04 power up with the remote start,I have not had a 08 superduty in for a remote start yet, if they come back on with the key the next time you drive the vehicle , (when you left them on when you got out of it) , they can be made to come on with the remote start you will probably have to add another relay as not to overload the relay's in the remote start ,if the seat will not stay on , and shuts off each time you turn the key on ,I have used latching relay's in the past to solve the problem.

I think the switch is momentary. So if you grab the two wires for the switch and use a ground while running output, you can setup a relay to active the seats. It should be a simple job using a delay relay.
