Unhappy door ajar light

I have a f-250 super-duty diesel 7.3. I have a problem with the doom light staying on after the switch is on and motor running. I can not find a switch no where that turns the light off after the door is closed. Is there a sensor or something inside the door or what? If so where is it ? Its the driver side door. HELP!

It is connected to door latch. There is a good thread on how to remove the latch in the superduty forum. However, it's probably not necessary, a lot of people have had good luck using WD40 to free up the plunger and get the switch working again. Spray a liberal amount of penetrating oil in the latch and work it a few times.
