Does ford credit always check ones general credit file all the time, even after having paid off 2 trucks through ford credit? Or do they just look at the Ford credit file only if one goes to finance through them again. thanks.
I tried to get an "08 F250 and use my parents as a cosignor (they've paid off 6 new ones through FMC), they wouldn't even talk to me, I love ford, but FMC sucks, only an opinion.
Ford Motor Credit is not in the business of NOT lending money. If you were turned down for a loan...there was a good reason. Most applications are transmitted electronically and are either approved or rejected by a computer. Real people never see the aps unless they fall within a gray area that requires review. I'm sure the business manager at the dealership did everything he/she could to secure financing for you. After all...no one at the dealership gets paid until you are driving one of their vehicles.
You will get a letter from FMCC...as well as any other bank that turned you down...stating what Credit Bureau they used to make their decision. You can then request a free report from those bureaus. Do that and then you will be able to figure out why you didn't get the loan.
