IDM help
My buddys got an 01 powerstroke with 160k. Been runnin a lil on the rough side for awhile. It died while idling yesterday, and won't start. It cranks, but isn't smoking at all so im thinkin no fuel. He squirted some either and it did nothing...thankfully lol. Scanned for codes and got an IDM code. Is it possible to fix the IDM if its the problem, or does he just need a new one? Is it possible the IDM code is insignificant? Were just checkin all bases before having to buy a new IDM. Thanks for the help in advance.

So even the OBS IDM will do? I'm pretty sure it runs slightly lower voltage to the injectors, but will that screw anything up or should we just go ahead and put the 140V mod in? ( assuming he got an OBS IDM)
