Drilling Hub Bolts

I have a 96 f150 with lockout Hubs. I need to replace the rotors. The problem is.......... all 5 of the Allen head hub bolts on the driver side, have the heads snapped off.
The passenger side has 3 of the 5 bolt heads gone. Anyone have any info on how to tackle this?

Thanks
Paul

I had stripped heads on half of these screws on the hubs on my '90 F350 and tried slotting them with a dremel tool and turning with a flat head (broke the screwdriver), drilling the heads off (ruined the drill bit), turning them with a drift and hammer (drift just skipped out), and finally welded bolts to the screw heads (had to do this for all of them). In my experience, this is the only way to get them out.

How you weld without get stick to hub"s outer?

or you put bolt on arc handle then touch that screw that how it weld itself?

What amps so everyone could do good weld by follow what you use amps.

I used a 1/16" E6013 rod at about 60 amps. First I liquefied the had of the screw in the hub, then I carefully welded the bolt on holding the bolt with vice grips and the electrode in my other hand. I ran the ground through the hub (clamp on a wheel stud) and was just very careful to keep from welding the whole thing to the cap. You definitely want to be sure of your delicate welding skills before attempting this or you'll have the screws welded to the hub! Good luck!

Did you unplug computer for that? I heard that weld on cars or trucks that have computer will be damaging it.

I have welded the exhaust on my truck "live" - nothing happened, well so far...
I was thinking the only way to be sure is to unplug the computer itself...
