I have a 92 F250 with the 351 that has steering column issues.
1) Steering wheel doesn't turn smoothly, sounds like something broke and jammed, somewhat loose.
2) ABS light on
3) Horn short, horn blows spontaniously sometimes when turning.
No cruise control on this truck but from what I've read it sounds like a clock spring issue, right?
Also what is the best way to disconnect the horn for a temporary fix, that is the most annoying problem at this time. Is there a fuse exclusively for horn or a wire I could disconnect temporarily?
i would say a bad wiring harnness in the column or just a plain bad wire in the column. plan on a half a day, they suck to mess with. (the steering column i mean)
