Woodgrain

Went down to our sister Ford dealer to pick up the spray paint for my 650 dash and the counter guy mentioned having a woodgrain dash piece that a guy stiffed them on a while back. He said the had over $250 in it with sending it out and the part combined. They had already written it off so I ask what they wanted for it, he says what will you give me for it (big mistake), "$25 bucks". Dont know if I'll like it once its installed but you cant beat the price. It doesnt match the factory stuff on the doors but I'm the only one that it matters to anyway.

Darrell, If your old dash piece is still good I could sure use it. I was planning a junkyard trip in a few weeks to go find one. (the bad thing is, the junk yard around here that gets SDs is 65 miles away.)
Let me know.

I'll let you know Brandon. Only problem is I not sure when I'll get the chance to do everything. Right now I have the F650 dash with switches and guages, rear airbags and a triple compressor OBA sytem to install and no time to do it. If you can wait a little while your welcome to it.
Now because you got me started with the dash, I had to add the OBA and the guages and I already needed the bags so I figure I've got about $700 wrapped up in this project. Will $699.99 be ok with you?

JK! Its yours if I decide to keep the woodgrain.

Ummm, I take no responsibilty for your addiction, other than fueling it......

Even if you decide not to use the wood grain let me know, and I will buy it from you, I really need a dash piece. I could trade Chris (Rampage F350) the wood grain for his stock bezel and paint his. Chris has the lariat woodgrain so it would match his.

The woodgrain in my truck (lariat) is the burled style and only have it on the doors. My stock panel is in perfect shape. Its the dark parchment color. If I sell the woodgrain it will be for what I paid, Not looking to make any money off of anyone here. The stock panel will be free.

I hear ya'. It's mine and I can do what I want. I only have myself to please. As long as I'm happy with it, that's all that matters. They wonder why I do all my mods.

Those are different pieces JD. My dash bezel was damaged when my stereo was put in a few years ago. The shop did a great job of covering it up by epoxying it all back together, but when I pulled it last year it cracked in multiple places. I have epoxied and repaired, but now all the clips and tabs that hold the bezel to the actual dash have just about come off. Its been one of thos low priority items on my punch list for awhile.
I would take it back and have the shop that started this mess replace it, but they are out of buisness now.
