I have found a lift kit that i want to install in the '89. The problem (there always is one...) is that the F-150 has quad front shocks, but the kit only comes with 4. Will it hurt anything to drive with only 2 shocks in the front. If not, where should i mount them? In front or behind the axle? I don't have a winch or brush guard or plow or anything to warrant the heavy duty front end (well, except all that dried clay in the front bumper). It's just gonna be a muddin truck. Thanks...
1995 Bronco- Eddie Bauer, 351W, E40D, too much to list....
1989 F-150- XL, 4x4, 302, M50D, much more to come...
85351 is right, running 2 shocks instead of 4 isnt going to hurt anything. It will probobly ride smoother though. My friend had a 88 Bronco with a 4 inch lift and ran 2 ES9000s up front and said it was smoother than it ever had been.

Some truck had quad and some had single. My '95 has single, and my dad's '95 f-150 has the quad. Same engine, rears, and trannys. Beats the heck out of me. They just did it. Hope that helps...
