Tarded Question

I'm ordering some exhaust accessories from summit racing to do my own straight pipe exhaust. I'm ordering a 4 ft length 4" diameter straight pipe and a 4" inlet turndown to dump under the bed. the question is....will the 4" diameter pipe slide into the 4" diameter inlet on the tip?? not sure if that'll work or if I'll have to stretch the inlet of the tip...

I see no reason for the tip not to accept the pipe. In theory they're made to slide on

let me know how it does bc i may do that if its inexpensive and easy to get a little better exhaust

I would think that would depend on if the tip is a clamp-on or a weld-on tip. A clamp-on should slide right on but a weld-on might not.

also post some picks bc if it looks better than an mbrp than i will get it

Also im sure the tip will fit bc it should be swagged out

well...i'm not too sure it'll look better than stainless MBRP system LOL but i'll have an extra $400 in the pocket! i'll put up pics when i'm done...

id think that it wouldnt have to be the prettiest thing as long as it gets the job done....plus for 400 dollars you could do another mod...cant wait to see the pics and how you like it
