gear venders

i have a chance to get a gearvenders od unit cheap, its off a 2wd zf mines a 4wd with the zf. is there any way to put this on a 4wd? i no driveshafts would have to be shortened and leanthened, but any help would be great

You would need a different adapter to hook up to the transfer case instead of the tranny.
Those can be bought direct from GV, check thier site for prices. I would check that you have all the electronics as well.

ok thanks, i have to pull the uit myself so i can makesure i get all the electrical stuff

Kinda crazy what their adapters cost. Like $4-500

The other option is a divorced transfer case.

My guess is you will need more electronics as well, the 4x4 model locks the Gear Vendors unit out when in 4x4.

I can also tell you that on the 1345 transfer case, you replace the rear transfer case housing.
I just looked, they only show a slip joint drive shaft connection for the 1345, so that means new custom driveshaft unless they have other parts not listed.
