I'm gonna be getting new tires here some time and was looking around. I found a place that sells new 35x12.50 Goodyear MTR's for $156 a pop and was wondering how good they are. Here in Indiana we don't have alot of rocks so rock crawlin' performance is irrelavant, but we got some killer mud and trails. I was wondering how these would compare to a 36x12.50 TSL, as these are roughly the same price. As is the 35's would be a better fit on my truck as I have only 2" of lift and some "minor" fender trimming. I'm really considering buying a set of these when I can get the money but I figgred I'd get some opinions first.
The TSL's are a much better tire for the $$$. They might wear a little faster but you will not be disappointed. I have a set of goodyears that are falling apart right now. Ready to get some Coopers or BFG's
People who say it can't be done should not interrupt the person doing it.
Go for the TSL's... I know three people that are running them and they rave about them. The MTR's are kind of unproven I think. Besides the only thing better in mud than a TSL is the bogger.
