Search Not Working?

I have been trying to do some topic searches on the forum and each time they have returned no results. I even did searches on topics that were current and in the header to test. Anyone else having a problem?

I've been having issues too. Was trying to search CAT not wanting oil poured in the filter because the new oil in the bottle wasn't clean enough for Gene. Same here, no results.

Working today, was looking up "Glow Plug Relay" and then "Glow Plug" and didn't return anything. My truck wouldn't start the other night and I had been suspecting the GPR not working. Finished work and the temperature was 12* and the battery lasted about 12 start attempts, waiting for the WTS to go out and beyond each time. Figured the glow plugs should have warmed up plenty by then. I did check the GPR out when I got home , after getting a jump from a D-Max and found the GPR to be not working. Been starting it every few hours now while it is cold until I get a new relay.

Well at least you know what it is, never done it but it looks simple. Any place to plug it in to help with the startup??

Just started it up about a half hour ago, which let it sit for over 5 hours, and let it run until warm, no problem with the start and it is about 24* here. I don't think I will have a problem until it gets below 20* and it hasn't been started for a while. I am off all next week and should be able to get it swapped out then.

You should be getting our cold weather from yesterday about now. It is less than a day typically from here to Pittsburgh (my original home town) for the weather to move based on calls to folks house. Had nasty sleet and snow last night which is making travel a little touchy so be careful.

You can always use a screw driver or heavy gauge wire to jump across the two large terminals on the glow plug relay. This will supply the juice to heat up the gps.

I figured if I have to, I will try the jumper cables across the relay. Anyone know where the fuse is for the glow plugs?
