2000 EXPY heat issues

I have read back a few pages and it seams to be common issue. I have a 2000 Expedition I just purchased and the heat never really seams to get warn inside. The motor comes up to temp good but just never blows hot air, it always just luke warm. It has dial controls and neither the front or rear gets hot. Any help would be great!!!

Mine seems to warm up ok, its 8* here in Omaha so I don't expect to much to soon. I would start by checking to see if both heater hoses are warm. Make sure the valve is opening up. I don't know if you can see the valve or not as I have never had this problem to work on. Another thing it could be is the door that opens and closes to let air in the truck. If you have ***** then I don't think you have a blend door but there are vaccuum doors in there just the same.

Well I looked at it some more this weekend. Coolant is full themastat appears to be good, It comes up to temp and maintains a constant temp. all of the heater hoses seam to be about the same temp. And I did get to the bend door motor and it moves when I turn the dial but not alot of change in temp. It only seams to blow luke warm air.

Might need to flush out the heater core.

The hoses are not burn your hand hot but both hoses are about the same temp, is there a valve or something that could be causing issues in the heater hoses?
