fuel return line question??

fuel return line question??

hay whats up guys my 91 f-250 has plastic conecters on top of the injectrs that the return lines hook up to not sure of the name of them. just wanted to know can i get metal ones or can i make something with from the local hardwair or parts store????

I can't think of anything you could make one out of as they need to be the perfect size inside so they don't leak. Most IDI owners will keep a couple extra around in case one gets broken. Return line kits can be gotten on line or your auto parts store.

thanks i think im going to have my buddie truy and make me some out of billit aluminum if it orks i will start selling them lol

That would be cool, Would go nicely with my chrome valve covers and other bling, wonder how he would get the hose nipples in?

It could be done, but with the amount of machine work it would take they are going to be high dollar items.

i just hate replaceing these damn things every time thay dry rot and break. it would save money in the long run and all you would half to replace then is o rings and hoses

I have owned an IDI since 85 and have never seen one dryrot and break the problem is the Orings that you will still have with aluminum ones.

My climate is varied from the high plains of nm nearly desert to the interior of ak and everything in between the only time I have seen one break is when changing them.

yah i was replacin the return lines and 3 broke so i want to make metal ones im sure that thay are the origenal ones from the factory because the truck only has 103250. so im sue thats y thay broke

Chrome valve covers???
musta ben custom chromed.. if new where did you get them???

I had the valve covers and some of the small brackets etc. chromed in Vegas. I like a little eye candy when I pop the hood.
