So frustrating to pull into a gas station, truck stop, fast food joint, mini market, and have to shut our motors off. Because if we left them idling like the diesel guys do, wouldn't make any difference....nobody would notice us .....(ever wonder why they dont put starter motors on diesel trucks...? )

We need pics ASAP please!!!

Pics are on the way I just need some time to take a picture. Comming soon. For the record I have felt no difference in towing from 265s to 285s... Steering is much better I feel less wonder.

dunerunner25, How big of a load do you tow? I currently only pull around 5k pounds but plan on getting a bigger boat during the time I own this vehicle.

go to TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting and upload there, probably the easiest site to use of them all. Copy the link that starts with [ IMG] and ends with [/ IMG] and just paste that line in your post and the picture will appear when you submit your post!

I have a 25ft weekend warrior. Loaded it weights about 9000lbs. That is with a rhino a banshee and a 70 atc. Full water and extra gas... My V10 X towes it great a 62-65 mph with no chassy or engine mods. The trailer does have load bars for the hitch but nothing real special. It tows better at 65 than 55mph. Comming from a 02 Yukon the X is a breeze to tow with. That Yukon was down right dangerous!!! I could only tow 52 mph in perfect conditions...and I was blown all over the road by truckers. Now no problems thanks to my new 05 V10 X!!!!

I'd actually like to see that, send to ibouncedrunks@aol.com and I'll put it up tonight sometime if I get it.

small lift is a great look and an awesome feeling

I have had my truck lifted for almost a year now and love it. I installed a Fabtech 3.5 inch lift in the front and 2 inch in the rear and love the way it rides and most definitaly the appearance. I live in Michigan and find myself at the sand dunes very often and have never had a problem. I think a small lift is fine and you have nothing to be concerned with. Feel free to check out my pics. Dan

I would have saved the hassle and put the ski in the X...doubles have bee outlawed here for quite a while with good reason...
I have pulled a double before with an f-350 dualie and after that vowed to never to it again....too many variables

Thanks #1, for posting the picture of my EX with boat and jet ski.

Actually, the photo gives a distorted view. The boat is actually much larger and longer in comparison to the EX, than the picture shows . Note that the vehicles are at an angle, with the EX closest, and the boat further away - that creates a distortion that effectively substantially shrunk my boat !
