Always use this site for my 2 ford trucks.
My son has a 2007 chevy silverado and has some noise at roof and winshield at 70mph and above.
Can you give me a link to a chevy forum like this one for my son to use??
Thanks in advance, might be a sore subject talking "chevy" on this forum,
I apologise in advance also.
Can't sell it, he's upside down. Tried to tell him about buying a NEW truck but would not listen. Young, 1st NEW truck, got bit by that bug and would not change his mind.
Learning lessons the hard way just like I did.
I knew that before I even asked. Posted the question on that OTHER forum, only got 24 views and only 2 replies.
I am so glad to have acess to this forum for my FORD trucks.
As to the wind noise it may be that the wind is getting under the trim around the windshield. First take some blue painters tape and seal the molding down in a section then take a test drive. If the noise is gone you may want to use some sort of sealant under the molding in that area.
Thanks Shorebird, that sounds like a reasonable solution.
The OTHER forum suggested it was bugshield, which is nowhere close to where noise was coming from.
