Yesterday rained all day, then froze over night. I tried to get in the truck and the doors were froze shut. So I had to climb in through the back all the way up. When I started the truck, the trip computer was flashing: 17 degrees/ ICE.
My truck is a smart *** I think. My doors were froze, of course there's ice. I don't need my truck to tell me that. I could use the winning lottery numbers though. why doesn't my truck tell me that.

What year is your Excursion? I didn't know it told us that.
mine talks to me! it was minus 10 degrees this morn. when i took it in to have the eng. pulled to repair the leak in the bedplate. its under the PS warranty. it told me to GET RID OF IT WHEN FIXED! i will probably listen to it!
I hear ya Brooklyn!! I live in Appleton too, and I unfortunately work outside. At 5 am this morning when I started the windchill was around -25 to -30! I could only last about 5 to 10 minutes and my face was completely frozen. Man I hate winter!
I guess I will not complain about moving to florida one of these winters. Single and negative digits are too low, you need to idle your vehicles more to encourage global warming.
it felt colder than that. i guess the -20 wind chill doesnt help. i laugh at guys that plug in at +20 degrees. wish i had extra cash for my elect.bill!
