Oil Sending Unit Question
In the process of installing Sunpro mechanical oil pressure and coolant temp gauges. I got the coolant gauge installed yesterday by going into the original sender location (the one with one wire). I am showing 190 degress +/- a few degress when warm so that looks good. I have the copper tubing routed into the engine bay but ran out of day light so I will give another go this weekend. Concerning the oil sender unit, I can barely get a look at it from below (LOL) and was wondering whats my best plan of attack should be. Should I go from underneath or topside? Remove oil filter? Swing power steering pump and AC compressor out of the way? Pull engine? HAHAHAHA. I am sure all of this will be painfully obvious when I begin but I would like to set off in the right direction.
