Suspension lift question

LAST EDITED ON 23-Sep-01 AT 09:02 PM (EST)[p]I want to put a lift in my F-150. It has the 117" wheelbase. Short S*** little thing. I'm not going any higher than a 6" or any smaller than a 4". Question is, if I were to go with the 6" would I have to lengthen my drive shafts any?? I know I would have to with the 4" but I want the most tire clearance I can get without too much hassle. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Please don't pull out in front of me! The last thing I want to do is play identify the pieces with you or your car.

Suspension lift question

LAST EDITED ON 02-Oct-01 AT 00:52 AM (EST)[p]With those old Fords, a 4" kit will clear 35's, highlight CLEAR. You won't have a lot of travel. A six inch kit should run 36's, depending on the width. As far as driveshafts go, never owned a shortbed. That's just my experience. Hope I helped
