I seen you added the sound clip with the cherry bomb extreme 
to your site. Do you know what set up he was using. I bought the same muffler, but I was wondering if he kept the cat and the resonator.

i THINK he still had the cat on, but don't quote me on that one.

Did they use a resonator on the 99'-04' SDs? I know 03' and 04's don't have a resonator. The ebay y-pipe with a lightning style exhaust sounds louder and better than with the stock y-pipe. The difference in sound is surprising.

On my exhaust after the y pipe it goes through the cat then through something that resembles a cat but it like 12-16" long. I just figured it was the resonator.

Did you have the truck since new? I've never seen a resonator on that year, especially before the muffler. Got me curious.
To route the exhaust like in the video you would have to get rid of that little muffler or resonator. The exhaust gets pretty short when exiting in front of the rear wheel. You might have to put on a smaller aftermarket cat just to get everything to fit.

Oh, I guess I should have been more spacific, im gunna run it angled out the back, kinda like factory but out both sides. Im the second owner of the truck, but it was a salesmans truck for the Ag company my brother works for. The guy that had it didnt do any mods to it, just took immaculant care of it. I also did not think they had resonators on the 99-04's but it is the only thing I can think it might be.
