Ok....so its not mine........i wouldn't want one....but my future brother in law has a 2005 toyota tundra (old style) and i'm getting him a prodigy brake controller for christmas. Does anyone know if tundra's come with the pigtail for wiring the controller in like the newer fords do?
I don't know....thats the problem...he bought it used and doesn't have much info on it. Anyone know of a site that has a tundra vin decoder to find out what options it has on it?

You might try this one. I'm not sure whether it will tell you all options or not but I have used it in the past on Fords with good results.
I assumed that if it had the connector behind the kick panel there would be a harness to go from the conn. to the brake controller, and that you would have to go to the dealer for that
I didnt know about vehicle specific harnesses from prodigy, all that ive installed had a genric set of pigtails. If its a xmas surprize type thing I'd still check with the dealer, parts dept might be able to help you out
