HELP! Overdrive is like neutral
I have a 1999 F150 4x4 w/4.6L. When the tranny shifts into overdrive, its like shifting into neutral and then it shifts back into 3rd. There are no other problems with shifting or slipping in 1st 2nd or 3rd. The transmission has a B&M shift kit in it and has been in there for about 7 months. The fluid was changed 7000km ago. The temperature of the transmission fluid is below 100 where it normally is and the fluid level is good. Yesterday there was no problem with the overdrive. I have read that it could be an overdrive servo. Anyone know of a problem like this?
