Replacing Shocks
I ran into a minor problem replacing the front shocks on my 94 F250 4X4. Its a 3/4 ton truck, with leaf springs in the front. Is there a trick to getting tension off the springs/shocks. I jacked up one side and was able to remove the top shock mount bolt, but the bottom one seemed to be in a bind, like there was tension on it. Is it simply a matter of jacking up the entire front end, and using jack stands for each side? Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
