Do I have the right combination?
Hey guys! Here's my question: I just bought a 1999 f150 ext cab 4.6l 5spd manual with the ifs front suspension and here's what i want to do...I've been reading up on all the major manufacturers of suspension and body lifts and i've come up with a formula that i'm hoping will be the correct one? I'm planning on installing a rancho 4" suspension lift with the rs5000 shocks and a performance accessories 3" body lift. I then want to run 35" pro comp xterra's on eagle 16x10 1439's underneath. Now from what i've read the ride should be virtually the same if not better than stock with no changes to steering geometry? I'm also aware that since i currently have the stock 3:55 gearing that i should probably go with a 4:56 gear so the truck's performance remains the same. I've allready installed a K&N air filter with future changes including a superchip's chip and a cat-back dual exhaust. Is there anybody out there running a similar setup? If so please let me know how you like it and any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Later dudes!
