hey guys i got a 97 w/ a 100hp programmer/cold air intake/ 3 inch down pipe w/ straight pipe. even when my foot is in it seh doesnt smoke a ton. aside from all teh expensive stuff like injectors and waht not is there a cheap trick to make my bitch dump death clouds. i know on cummings u just grind down the fuel plate and there ya go. whast the trick on the stroker thre has to be one
You could try plugging the cat, or wrapping a plastic Walmart bag around the intake air filter. Seriously without bigger sticks and a better chip it's pretty limited as to how much coal you can lay down. My Banks Power Pack chip does pretty well in the smoke dept, considering I'm running stock sticks. It won't totally block your view if you're behind me, but I can leave a trail, and have done some funny things to ricers and especially Subarus who flip me off for driving a "gas" hog as they call it!! :0))
The Cummins fuel plate is a mechanical system and responds well to mods. I know lots of guys here who grind on those things and make some awesome smoke and power. The PSD is totally differnt. Others will chime in with any tricks if there are any. I don't know of any cheap ones.
powrstrkr is right. we have to rely mostly on electrical upgrades to get the fuel where we want it aside from injectors.. try the 10k mod. in my case 18.3k will work best. search 10k and youll get cheap smoke/fun. good luck
