what do 750 16 convert to

I have a 1974 F350 (duals)

I need to know what tires will fit. I do not want tube tires. I want the tallest I can get and still not rub together on the back.

I think 235 85s fit the front but i think they will rub on the back.

For now I think i am running the duals but I can see possibly going to singles in the rear in the future. This truck will be used to tow a gooseneck trailer as well as used to pleasure it's driver.

All season tread.

Are there be charts somewhere or might someone know what fits exactly.

No way to know without knowing what kind of bed and how much clearance it has. Depends on how much spring lift you have. You need to do some measuring down at the tire store.

My dad had the problem of his two 235/85R-16's (radial version of 7.50-16's)
rubbing each other when used as duals, but it was a GMC setup and they
weren't "Load Range E" tires neither. He ruined 4 tires like that right quick. :)

Now you know all I know about it.
That didn't take long, never does. ;)

I never did really understand why. :(
Setup was made for 7.50-16?
Setup was made for Load Range E?
Required more air than he was willing to put in them?
The wheels etc were stock and the old tires didn't do that.

Anybody got any ideas?
