Truck is a 94 F150, 2WD model.

Passenger side radius arm bushing is MISSING. Anyhow, I replaced the bushing.

The drivers side bushing is fine. My question is should I replace it anyway? The new bushing came as a kit, with parts for both sides. I can only imagine they're a little bit different from the OEM ones, so it will probably mess up my steering geometry if I don't replace the drivers side as well.

Comments??

Thanks,

Tim

You should always replace bushings in pairs. Theres probably a reason why the bushing was missing, like it was dry rotted or cracking out. not to mention your right, it could space one side of the axle forward.

I agree- replace both bushings and have the truck re-aligned.

I think the passenger side fails (and always will) first because it is too close to the exhaust system. The heat-cycling just kills the rubber.

Thanks for the inputs. I was leaning on replacing them both anyhow, now I'm sure of it.

Thanks,

Tim
